Kitchen Renovation Building Works
At Crystal Complete Building, we prepare and renovate kitchen spaces before your chosen kitchen company supplies and installs the finished kitchen. We look after the building work that makes the room ready for that installation.
We do not provide a kitchen design, supply or kitchen fitting service. In most projects, the kitchen company provides the drawings, measurements and installation details, and we carry out the renovation and preparation work around those drawings.
Our work can include wall removals, knock-throughs, structural openings, steel beam installation, plaster preparation, plumbing and electrical coordination, flooring preparation, window and door changes, insulation improvements and other building works needed before the kitchen supplier arrives.
What is Kitchen Remodelling?
Our kitchen renovation building work focuses on preparing the room before your kitchen company supplies and installs the kitchen. We work from the kitchen company’s drawings and installation details, carrying out the structural, renovation and service preparation works needed before the units, worktops and appliances are fitted by others. This can include opening up walls, forming new layouts, preparing floors and walls, coordinating plumbing and electrics, and making the space ready for installation.
Kitchen Drawings and Builder Preparation
Working from the kitchen company’s drawings and installation details so the building work is prepared correctly before the kitchen is fitted.
Demolition & Removal
Removing internal walls, forming knock-throughs, opening rear walls where specified, stripping out the existing kitchen area and preparing the room for the next stage.
Wall and Floor Preparation
Preparing walls, floors, service routes and openings so the kitchen company can install the units to their drawings.
Worktop Area Preparation
Coordinating builder-side preparation before the kitchen company or worktop supplier completes the worktop installation.
Splashback Area Preparation
Preparing splashback areas and surrounding walls where required as part of the wider renovation works.
Floor Preparation
Preparing floors and levels for the agreed final floor finish.
Electrical Preparation
Coordinating electrical preparation and first-fix routes around the kitchen company’s layout.
Appliance Service Preparation
Preparing plumbing, electrical and ventilation points for the appliance positions shown on the kitchen drawings.
Plumbing & Electrical Work
Coordinating plumbing and electrical preparation as needed before the kitchen company completes its installation.
We used Crystal to build a third story sunroom on our private residence. Both ourselves and our surveyor found Daragh Carolan to be very competent, efficient, and helpful. During the construction Daragh and his crew were friendly and approachable but polite and unobtrusive. They were punctual and kept affected areas clean. The work was carried out in an efficient manner with minimal disruption to our family life. At the end of each day the area was cleared of debris and tidied thoroughly. The building area was cordoned off and made safe which was comforting given the number of small children who play on the road each day. We found Daragh and Stephen to be helpful, friendly and knowledgeable at all times and engaged them to carry out additional work as a result. The timescale for completion of works was 10 weeks and despite temperatures of minus 10 degrees and heavy snowfall the works were complete on time.
